our story
THE "CTP" Story
Central Theatre Productions was founded in 2016 by Adele Wallace. Signing on to take part in its conception was Sarah Galbraith and together they started what became known as "CTP", putting on full scale Broadway style musicals in the heart of Central Scotland.
Our first show was Oliver and after rave reviews, we spent our next year doing Hairspray. After that it was Peter Pan, full with flying and all! We were scheduled with our next show, but the unfortunate events of Covid forced us to take a hiatus. Now, we are so excited to be back bigger and better than ever! We are so passionate about bringing a professional, all-inclusive, fun and immersive musical theatre experience to adults, children and the community. Whether it's being in the spotlight on stage, working behind the scenes, or supporting by watching from the audience, the theatre community is a beautiful, magical place!
The company is comprised of children age 8+ and adults via audition. Rehearsals are held over a 10 month period on Thursday evenings at Newmarket Street Studios in Falkirk. Full details of shows, auditions and rehearsal scheduling will be updated soon in the "information documents" section.
MEET THE TEAM
ADELE WALLACE
Adele began dancing at just three years old and spent her childhood performing and competing across the UK, achieving multiple Scottish and British Championship titles along the way.
Adele then trained full-time in dance and musical theatre at Anniesland and MGA. Performance credits include appearances with the Cabaret Girls, as well as large-scale events such as Boobie Birds and the Royal Variety for Kids.
Following graduation, Adele completed her professional qualifications with the IDTA. In 2010 she founded Broadway School of Performing Arts, which quickly grew to become one of Central Scotland's largest and most respected dance and performing arts schools.
With her extensive choreography and teaching credits, Adele has achieved numerous school awards, choreography accolades and national titles with her pupils. She has also proudly supported over 40 students as they progressed into full-time dance and musical theatre colleges across the UK.
She is deeply passionate about developing performers, nurturing confidence, and pushing individuals to reach their full potential.
Adele is excited to extend that passion through Central Theatre Productions, creating meaningful, high-quality theatre experiences for performers and audiences alike.
SARAH GALBRAITH
Sarah is a native of the USA, but has called Falkirk home for the last ten years. Sarah has been performing all her life and professionally since she graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She made her Broadway debut in The Phantom of the Opera after appearing in the National Tour and Las Vegas Productions. Additional credits include the UK Tour of Annie Get Your Gun starring Jason Donovan, Wizard of Oz at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, UK Tour of Restless Natives, and UK Tour of Girls Night Oot. Sarah is currently touring in Girls Night Oot 2! and has just finished he fourth tour singing with Disney and Broadway legend Lea Salonga. Her favourite role is Mum to daughter Emma.
